There’s nothing quite like that moment when you find out you’re expecting a baby – everything changes in an instant and it is just the beginning of a wonderful journey!

A maternity session is a beautiful way to embrace your new identity as a mother and capture some priceless images before you even meet your little one.

Do you have a preference for a studio session or an outdoor session? At Nicola Jane Photography, I can offer you both! Either type of maternity session has their benefits, so it really comes down to your vision for the images you want to achieve. 

Studio sessions provide a private, intimate environment where we can let our creativity roam! With dramatic lighting we can create beautiful, timeless portraits that you can be proud to show off! You can either provide your own outfits or take advantage of my client closet full of beautiful dresses. Families are always welcome. 

Maybe you prefer to be outside?! No problem! This is especially nice if you are including toddlers and children as they are more comfortable when they are free to run around! 

I typically prefer to do outdoor sessions about an hour before sunset as this creates the softest, most beautiful light so keep that in mind if you are wanting to include young children. 

While you can purchase a stand alone maternity session, most of my clients take advantage of the 'Bump & Baby' package which allows you to complete the circle and get some portraits of your baby upon their arrival! 

The package includes:

• Your maternity mini session (either in-studio or on location).
• Access to client closet.
• Three complimentary images from your maternity session.
• Your newborn session (2-3 hours in studio) which includes access to all props, wraps and outfits and a gallery reveal session. ** Digital images and print products from your newborn session are NOT included **
